Tuscan Herb Olive Oil – Flavor of the Month
Tuscan Herb Olive Oil has been one of our most popular flavors from day one of The Olive Scene!
And for good reason: it's the perfect way to add TONS of flavor to dishes without adding salt or pulling out the entire spice cabinet.
Tuscan Herb Olive Oil is made by infusing organic extra virgin olive oil with Italian herbs, sundried tomatoes, and garlic.
It's such a bold flavor that it holds up to almost any of our balsamic vinegars! Some of our favorite pairings include Black Currant, Fig (yes, Fig! This combo makes an amazing vinaigrette), Neapolitan Herb, and 18 Year Traditional Balsamic Vinegar.
For more of a tart, acidic combination, use one of our white balsamic vinegars such as Oregano, Sicilian Lemon, or Ultra Premium White Balsamic Vinegar.
As one of our most versatile products, there are endless uses for Tuscan Herb Olive Oil! Try adding it to pasta sauces or using it on pasta dishes. Add some to your favorite beans or soup. Cook scrambled eggs or omelettes in it instead of butter. Drizzle it on your caprese salad or your tomatoes for bruschetta. Roast or grill chicken, lamb, pork, and salmon. Put some in mashed potatoes. Use it to roast vegetables, especially potatoes, carrots, parsnips, Brussels sprouts, and asparagus.
It's practically made for bread, too! Sprinkle some Parmesan cheese over a small dish of it and use as a dipping oil for a great appetizer. Toss cubed bread in it and toast for croutons. Brush it on baguette slices to make crostini.
These are just a few ideas, and we would love to hear your favorite ways to use Tuscan Herb Olive Oil! Leave a comment and tell us about your favorite recipes or ideas.
