Seasoned Cabbage Slaw
Simple and refreshing, this is a great side to any smoked or barbecued meats.
It is a great recipe for pickling cucumbers and onions as well!
Ingredients

¼ head of cabbage, sliced very thin

2 scallions, sliced very thin

1 tablespoon The Olive Scene Madagascar Black Pepper Olive Oil

2 teaspoon The Olive Scene Ultra-Premium White Balsamic Vinegar

Salt and pepper
Directions

In medium sized serving bowl, toss together the cabbage and scallions.

Mix together olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper.

Toss 1/2 of the vinaigrette with cabbage, adding more if needed.

Adjust seasonings.

Let sit for 10-15 minutes for the cabbage to absorb some of the dressing. Or refrigerate for 30 minutes.
*This is delicious with our Olive Wood Smoked Olive Oil as well.
* If you want to give the slaw a bigger bite, try using our Champagne Vinegar or Red Wine Vinegar. Just add 1/2 teaspoon of sugar with either of these.
