Seasoned Cabbage Slaw

Simple and refreshing, this is a great side to any smoked or barbecued meats.

It is a great recipe for pickling cucumbers and onions as well!



  1. In medium sized serving bowl, toss together the cabbage and scallions.

  2. Mix together olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper.

  3. Toss 1/2 of the vinaigrette with cabbage, adding more if needed.

  4. Adjust seasonings.

  5. Let sit for 10-15 minutes for the cabbage to absorb some of the dressing. Or refrigerate for 30 minutes.

*This is delicious with our Olive Wood Smoked Olive Oil as well.

* If you want to give the slaw a bigger bite, try using our Champagne Vinegar or Red Wine Vinegar. Just add 1/2 teaspoon of sugar with either of these.
