Marinated Cherry Tomato Salad

This is the perfect go-to side dish for any occasion!

Be sure to use a colorful mix of cherry tomatoes for interest and taste.



  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the oil, vinegar, shallots, salt, and pepper and set aside.

  2. Wash and slice the tomatoes in half and put in a serving bowl.

  3. Add the dressing and toss to coat.

  4. Cover the bowl with a plate and set aside at room temperature for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours, to let the tomatoes marinate.

  5. Just before serving, add the torn basil and toss.

  6. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve at room temperature.
