Hot Honey Peach Pizza with Balsamic Drizzle
Chill the Sauvignon Blanc and invite the neighbors for this fruity take on pizza. It gets its kick from Lone Star Bee Fiery Sweet Mesquite available at all our stores.
Makes one 12”pizza or 4 servings
1 prepared 12” pizza crust (baked)
1 tablespoon Olive Scene Single Varietal Extra Virgin Olive Oil
¾ cup ricotta cheese, drained
½ cup crumbled goat cheese
2-3 ripe peaches, halved, pitted and thinly sliced
2 tablespoons Lone Star Bee Fiery Sweet Mesquite
2 tablespoons Olive Scene Traditional 18-year Balsamic Vinegar
2 tablespoons coarsely chopped basil
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 450°F.
- Place the pizza crust on a pizza stone or heavy baking sheet. Brush the top with the olive oil.
- Place small spoonfuls of the ricotta over the top of the crust, followed by the crumbled goat cheese.
- Arrange the peach slices over the cheeses. Drizzle with the honey.
- Bake for about 12-14 minutes or until the cheeses and pizza have softened and the honey caramelizes.
- Remove from the oven, drizzle with the balsamic and sprinkle with chopped basil.
- Wait about 15 minutes before slicing.
