Garden fresh tomatoes, basil, and garlic are key to a great tasting sauce!
Cooking Time: 20-25 Min Servings: 4-6
3 cloves fresh garlic, finely chopped or minced
5-6 medium tomatoes, chopped into small chunks
2 - 4 tablespoons fresh basil, finely chopped
2 teaspoons The Olive Scene Sicilian Lemon Balsamic Vinegar
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
16 oz pasta, cooked according to package directions
Cook the pasta according to its package directions.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the garlic and sauté the garlic for a few minutes, just until soft. Be careful not to brown it.
Add the balsamic vinegar and cook until the vinegar has reduced slightly, about 10 minutes.
Add the tomatoes and basil and cook 15 minutes.
Place your cooked pasta in a large bowl or on individual plates.
Top each serving with the tomato sauce and garnish with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
