Oatmeal Pancakes

Easy and delicious, these oatmeal pancakes are a great way to get a healthy start to your day.

They are especially tasty when served with our Maple, or Cinnamon Pear Balsamic Vinegar.

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients.

  2. Mix milk, egg, oil and honey.

  3. Mix wet ingredients into dry, if you choose, and mixing well.

  4. Allow to sit for 5-10 minutes to thicken.

  5. Add the apples or berries if using.

  6. Spread 1/4 cup of batter on a hot, greased griddle, and cook until golden brown on both sides.

For a healthy syrup: Mix: 1/4 cup The Olive Scene All Natural Butter Infused Olive Oil with ½ cup The Olive Scene Vermont Maple Balsamic Vinegar and whisk well. Use instead of traditional maple syrup.

*A fresh pressed mild Extra Virgin Olive Oil, or Blood Orange Olive Oil, Eureka Lemon Olive Oil, or Pecan Oil can be substituted for the Butter Oil.
