Honey Ginger Balsamic Vinegar

March’s flavor of the Month is our beautifully balanced Honey Ginger Balsamic Vinegar.

It is a slightly acidic white balsamic with naturally sweet honey and exotic ginger, which brings a gentle spice. This combination of flavors makes it perfect for marinades, dressings and beverages.

If you’re looking for ways to incorporate Honey Ginger Balsamic into your salads, you can go in so many different directions!  Keep your vinaigrette light and citrusy with Persian Lime Infused Olive Oil or Eureka Lemon Fused Olive Oil.  Add some kick with Harissa Olive Oil or Chipotle Olive Oil.  For a nuttier, sophisticated dressing, use Roasted Almond Oil or Japanese Sesame Oil.

For a simple yet amazing Asian marinade recipe, try equal parts Honey Ginger White Balsamic, Sesame Oil, Garlic Oil and Soy Sauce.  For a spicier version, try this recipe for grilled or broiled roasted chicken; it pairs Harissa Oil with the Honey Ginger for an easy weeknight meal.  We also love to pair Honey Ginger with Garlic Olive Oil for a pork, chicken, shrimp or fish.

If you agree with us that jarred applesauce can’t even come close to homemade, make your next batch with a splash of honey ginger balsamic in it.  Here’s our Honey Ginger Balsamic Applesauce recipe.

The combination of honey and ginger also lends itself perfectly to drinks.  We love to add a tiny bit to hot or iced tea for a low-calorie flavoring option.  And one of our owners’ father even adds it to his martini!
