Our Organic Red Wine Vinegar is tart yet complex. It has the initial acidic hit that red wine vinegar is famous for, then it mellows on the palate as the flavors of the wine come through – oaky, fruity and spicy.
Its lively character makes it a perfect component in vinaigrettes, and it pairs well with hearty greens, nutty grains, or starchy potatoes. It can be paired with mustard, garlic, and herbs without being overpowered. And have you seen its color? It’s a beautiful, rich, ruby red.
The high level of acidity makes it a great addition to marinades, as the acid tenderizes meat while adding flavor to the dish. Because it’s a fairly neutral vinegar, it pairs well with almost any of our oils. We especially love it with Chipotle, Garlic, Tuscan Herb, Eureka Lemon, and Rosemary olive oils.
