Wow the crowd with this unique salad recipe! Pair this recipe with any grilled recipe and you can prepare everything right at the grill for a fabulous meal.
2 tablespoons The Olive Scene Grapefruit White Balsamic Vinegar
3 cloves garlic, chopped
¼ teaspoon dried crushed red pepper
2 large heads radicchio, cored and quartered lengthwise
2 hearts romaine lettuce, sliced in half lengthwise
¼ cup shaved pecorino cheese
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Whisk oil, vinegar, garlic, and crushed red pepper in a large bowl. Add radicchio and romaine, tossing to coat evenly. Marinate for 20 minutes.
Place lettuces on the grill; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Grill lettuces until edges are crisp and slightly charred, about 6 minutes.
Transfer to a serving platter. Drizzle with the remaining marinade and sprinkle with cheese shavings. Serve immediately.
