Baklouti Green Chili fused Olive Oil comes to us from the Barbary Coast of North Africa, where it is crushed in our importer's own mill. The Tunisian Bakoulti Green Chili Pepper is rare and unique to the region and packs a punch of flavor. This is the only example of this fruity & mildly spicy green chili olive oil in the world! It is made by combining one pound of organic extra virgin olive oil with 1.6 pounds of fresh whole green Baklouti Chilies. The two ingredients are then crushed, and mixed together in the malaxer, fusing the fresh green pepper with the organic olive oil.

Baklouti adds a new and surprising dimension to salsas, aiolis, vegetables, and marinades of all kinds.
