Spring & Summer Flavors at The Olive Scene

Spring is here, bringing warmer temps, spring flowers, the grill as a dinner option, and Spring & Summer Balsamic Vinegar flavors at The Olive Scene!

We would love to be able to carry every vinegar available, but we simply don't have room for the wide variety of flavors we offer. In order to offer our customers a taste of as many different flavored vinegars as possible, we rotate flavors according to the season. This means some of your favorites might not be in our stores again until September, but it also means that we have some flavors you haven't seen in a while.

Our Spring & Summer flavors are:

• Gravenstein Apple
• Black Cherry
• Blackberry Ginger
• Blueberry
• Coconut
• Lavender
• Lemongrass Mint
• Ripe Peach
• Pomegranate Quince (coming soon to the website, but currently available in stores)

One of the many amazing things about balsamic vinegar is that it has a long shelf life! Even if your favorite Fall & Winter flavors are currently not in stores, you can still use what you have at home (and we may have limited quantities of certain Fall & Winter flavors in our stores until we sell out of them). Dark balsamic vinegars have an indefinite shelf life as long as they're stored in a cool, dark place. They'll keep reducing and thickening over time, becoming sweeter and richer. White balsamic vinegars will naturally darken over time and become more pungent, so we suggest using them within 2 years.

Fall & Winter flavors will be back in September, including Red Apple, Black Currant, Cinnamon Pear, Mango, Vermont Maple, Pineapple, Pomegranate, Tangerine, and Vanilla.
