Blueberry Balsamic Vinegar - Flavor of the Month

The Olive Scene's Blueberry Balsamic Vinegar is bursting with the flavor of real, ripe blueberries. It's a sweet/tart flavor combination that's perfect for summertime.

You can use this rich flavor in salad dressing or marinades, and even as a condiment. We put it on ice cream, on yogurt, in our iced tea, in cocktails, and in baked goods. In fact, our Blueberry Balsamic Cobbler is one of our favorite recipes of all-time!

It's a natural pairing with fresh goat cheese, feta cheese, or Brie, so don't forget to add it to your cheese plate. You can also use it to add a gourmet touch to a fruit salad full of the freshest, most delicious seasonal fruit you can find.

As a syrup, it’s fantastic in cocktails. Check out our guide to using our products in inventive, fresh summer cocktails like the Blueberry Basil Gin Smash.

Blueberry Balsamic Vinegar pairs well with any of our fruit-flavored olive oils. We love it with Eureka Lemon, Blood Orange, and Persian Lime Olive Oils. It also works with our are lighter herb oils, such as Basil or Milanese Gremolata Olive Oils. For a sweet and spicy combination, try it with our Chipotle, or Harissa olive oils.

Blueberry vinaigrettes and dressings are amazing in summer salads with salty cheese, your favorite nuts, and some fresh fruit. When it comes to protein, Blueberry Balsamic Vinegar marinades are perfect with chicken, pork, or game meat such as venison.

If dessert is more up your alley, try our easy Chocolate Fudge with Balsamic Vinegar recipe. It’s delicious with almost any of our dark balsamic vinegars, but Blueberry is one of our favorite flavors to use.
