Pear & Pecan Salad with Raspberry Vinaigrette

Our Pecan Oil combined with the Wild Raspberry White Balsamic Vinegar is the perfect pairing with fresh pears.

You will be making this salad often. (It is also fabulous with our Roasted Almond or Walnut Gourmet Oils.)

Product needed:


  • 8 cups mixed greens or mesclun greens, torn to bite sized pieces

  • 1 ripe pear, cored and sliced thin

  • 1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced

  • 1/2 cup Bourbon Barrel Smoked Spice Pecans

  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries

  • 1/2 cup Feta cheese, crumbled


  • 1/4 cup Olive Scene Pecan Oil (or you can use The Olive Scene’s Roasted Walnut or Roasted Almond Oil )

  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Scene Wild Raspberry Balsamic Vinegar

  • Freshly ground sea salt and pepper, to taste


  1. Whisk vinaigrette ingredients together in a bowl, or shake in a jar until well mixed (emulsified)

  2. Place the salad ingredients in a large bowl.

  3. Drizzle 1/2 of the dressing over the salad and toss gently.

  4. Drizzle additional vinaigrette over the complete salad, to taste, or serve it in a pitcher, table-side for everyone to add their own.
