About The Olive Scene

Every one of our olive oils is fresh as we follow the growing seasons of olives in the northern and southern hemispheres. Our producers are setting the bar on the technique of harvesting and pressing olives by using the best of both traditional and modern methods. This combination yields fresh, healthy, and flavorful extra virgin olive oils that are perfect for all types of cuisine.

Our balsamic vinegars are from Modena, Italy and are naturally barrel aged a minimum of 12 years in the traditional Solera method. You will be amazed by their full, sweet, zesty flavors and will want to use them in vinaigrettes, sauces and soups or drizzle them as a finish on vegetables, fish, meat, and especially desserts.

Stop in to sample our fabulous olive oils and vinegars and discover just how wonderful healthy can taste. Explore our unique companion products, imported foods and recipe ideas while learning the old world techniques of simple, delicious, food preparation and other important information from the fascinating world of Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

...You will never think of your olive oil in the same way again.

Our olive oils are carefully pressed for quality, not quantity so their flavor profiles and health benefits are exceptional.

Our balsamic vinegars are barrel aged, with a wonderful balance of tart and sweet.

We Are Three Friends

We at The Olive Scene, Anne Eren, Tracy Lockhart and Alice Wiegand all with Mediterranean roots, share a common love of simple yet rich cuisine.

We grew up knowing that olive oil was the healthiest of all the oils, and have become avid users of it just like our parents. There was no question that the only oil to be used in the delicate and wonderful recipes handed down by our families was olive oil.

It was to our surprise, however, that when visiting Italy we each experienced a taste of olive oil like never before. We were surprised again, when Anne visited Turkey and Tracy visited Tunisia, to taste such incredible oils. We found that these fresh, rich, flavorful oils could transform an already delicious meal into an exquisite taste sensation.

We have since learned that the olive variety, the method of pressing, and the freshness of the oil are what lead to such superior quality. The difficulties we found in obtaining this grade of oil locally are what lead us to the creation of The Olive Scene.

We invite you to visit The Olive Scene and discover for yourself that not all olive oils are created equal. We speak from experience when we say, "you will never think of olive oil in the same way again".
